Alcohol Wellness

Alcohol Wellness, run by Dr. Liara Montesano, is one hour on Thursdays for 8 weeks. The group goal is to help you feel more in control of and aware of your drinking habits and how they impact your life.

 

Every week, there is a new topic and useful information is presented and discussed. People will have the opportunity to talk about how the information relates to them.

 

Gain specialized knowledge about the many factors that impact drinking habits as well as how alcohol impacts the brain, body, and relationships.  

  • Virtual (video) group, easy to use

  • The group is no larger than 7 people

  • The group runs for 8 weeks

Erasing Anxiety

This group is based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and is designed for adults who want to learn new strategies for managing anxiety. 

 

Over the course of 8 weeks, group members will develop insight into why they feel as anxious as they do at times, and they will practice coping skills for overcoming their anxious thoughts and feelings.

 

The group is covered by insurance, and it is led by Matt Mooers, M.A. under the supervision of Dr. Liara Montesano and Dr. Kati Guada. Learn more about Matt by going to the "Our Team" link above.

This group is planned for Tuesdays at 5 PM and is in person starting October 5th.

COVID-19 Support Group

This group is to support people who lost their income as a result of COVID-19. This group does not collect any payment. 

  • Learn coping skills to manage financial stress and anxiety during this difficult period. 

  • Experience the feeling that you are not alone in the struggle.

  • Hear what other people are doing to help cope. 

  • Receive direct support from others, which can be especially helpful when living alone or in a stressful living situation.

  • Group is run by Kati Guada, Clinical Psychologist. 

 

Trauma Group

Run by clinical psychologist Liara Montesano, individuals are lead through a process of growth. The group runs for 8 weeks.

  • Learn how your history of emotional and/or physical abuse still impacts you today. 

  • Learn how to build more healthy and fulfilling ways of thinking and acting. 

  • Recognize that you are not alone in the way you feel. 

  • Learn how to cope with some of your guilt, shame, fear, or self-doubt.
