Individual Therapy for Adults and Adolescents

What is therapy?

Therapy is a judgement-free space people use to improve their mental health. Through the therapy process, you or your loved one's mental health needs will be treated. Our goal is to provide relief, both in the moment and after you leave therapy.

What can I expect from therapy?

We do not have a one-size-fits-all approach. You can expect someone to gently assess your mental health needs during the first 1-2 sessions. From there, your clinician will put together a treatment plan with interventions that fit your unique needs.

Common reasons people start therapy:

  • Frequent Sadness

  • Feeling worthless

  • Feeling angry

  • Family stress

  • Self-doubt

  • Loneliness

  • Nervousness

  • Feeling tense

  • Strong feelings of guilt

  • Racing thoughts

  • Social anxiety

  • Difficulties in social settings

  • Difficulty finding purpose

  • Difficulty with concentration

  • Fatigue or decrease in energy

  • Difficulty controlling impulses

  • Continual poor decision making

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Difficulty with expression

  • Memory problems

  • Thought difficulties

  • And more

People come to therapy for different reasons, but everyone wants to feel better. If you think you might benefit from working with a mental health professional, you are not alone!
